These terms govern access to the confidential applications Sports Performance Analysis (SPA) provides to authorized club personnel through the client portal.

Confidentiality & Ownership
These applications, their underlying models, methodology, analyst tagging, classifications, findings, and brand system are the proprietary property of SPA. All analysis and curated content is confidential and is provided solely for your club's evaluation and use of SPA's services.
Do not copy, screenshot for distribution, publish, or share this content or your sign-in credentials outside your authorized club personnel.

Terms of Access
- Permitted use. Access is granted solely to authorized personnel of the organisation associated with your account, for the purpose of evaluating and using SPA's services.
- Credentials are personal. Each person is issued their own account. Do not share your password or let anyone else sign in as you — activity is recorded against the account that performed it.
- Restrictions. Do not redistribute reports or exports, or attempt to access another organisation's data. Do not reverse engineer SPA's models, tagging methodology, or classifications.
- Ownership. All analysis, findings, and models remain the property of SPA. League and player data remain the property of their respective rights holders.
- Status. These are evaluation builds provided as is, with no service-level or uptime commitment.
NHL Trademarks
SPA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Hockey League. NHL, NHL team names, and team logos are trademarks of the National Hockey League and its member clubs, and are used here only to identify teams.
Player Names, Statistics & Images
Player names, statistics, biographical details, and images are the property of their respective leagues, players' associations, and the players themselves. They are displayed for analytical and identification purposes only.
Accounts & Sign-in
Access is granted through individual accounts rather than a shared password. To create your account we hold your email address, your name, and the organisation you belong to. Your password is never stored — only a one-way cryptographic hash of it, which cannot be reversed to recover the password.
Signing in sets a single signed session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. No other cookies are used, and it is not used to track you anywhere else.
Activity We Record
Because these applications carry confidential club data, SPA keeps an access log. This is a security and access-control record, not a marketing tool. For each event we record:
- the date and time, and the account's email address and organisation;
- the event — signing in, a failed sign-in attempt, opening an application, being refused an application you are not entitled to, and signing out;
- activity within the Athlete Workload Report and Prospect Tracker — which view or tab was opened, which player was selected, and search or filter terms entered;
- the IP address, the country it resolves to, and the browser user-agent string.
We use this to confirm that only authorized people are reaching your club's data, to investigate failed or refused access attempts, and to understand which reports are being used. SPA staff receive an email notification of sign-ins and of failed or refused attempts.
Records are retained for approximately 13 months and are visible only to SPA administrators. We do not run advertising, third-party analytics pixels, or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share this log with anyone outside SPA.
Activity inside the Tactical Efficiency Model, Goalie Efficiency Model, and Prospect Probability Model is not covered by this log — those applications are hosted separately, and our record ends when you are handed over to them.
Security & Data Handling
- All data is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Access is checked on every request, not only at sign-in, and is isolated per organisation. One club's applications are never shown to another.
- Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes.
- Service providers used to operate the portal are our application and edge host, a web-font provider, and a mail provider used for the contact form and access notifications.
Your Choices
Access is provided for the duration of the engagement and can be revoked on request or at its end. You may ask us what is recorded against your account, ask for your account to be disabled or deleted, or raise a privacy question at any time using the contact address below.

SPA's metrics are proprietary analytical outputs based in part on manual event tagging. They are not official NHL or league statistics and are provided without warranty as to accuracy or completeness.
